Please bear in mind that I am pretty useless with teh programming language and need simple step by step instructions when responding. If i disconnect the HDD from the USB hub when the Pi hasn't recognised the drive I still receive a message saying that "Media_HDD Was Removed Successfully" so it could see the drive but just didn't mount it. ![]() I have the HDD connected via a USB hub as I unplug it regularly and don't want to stress the Pi's USB ports. When I reboot the Pi after adding new media to the Hard Drive the Pi does not always mount the Hard Drive and I sometimes have to reboot several times before it can see the HDD.
